The Market that Cannot be Manipulated

Practically anything you can invest in can be manipulated by people with sufficient resources and the right information. Sometimes governments are involved in market manipulation, as you will see. Stocks, bonds, real estate - even Gold and Silver Bullion can be manipulated. But there is one whole class of assets that cannot be manipulated because of its unique characteristics. Wouldn't you rather have your money in assets that respond only to market forces, and cannot be manipulated for comeone else's gain?
