Christian Citizenship Part 2: From Ignorance to Understanding

Have you heard the phrase - “What they don’t know, can’t hurt you”? That may have some application in some area of life, but it is completely not true in terms of our civic life and our national health. What THEY don’t know, CAN hurt YOU. Not only you, but your children and grandchildren. Civic ignorance can destroy a country in a generation or less. The founders knew that in order for our country to operate correctly we needed not only a moral people, but an informed people.
 
In this training we will take a look at civic ignorance in the general population, schools, universities, news rooms, and the church. We will review just how bad and how subtle the censorship of truth is. We will discuss some key items of civic understanding that citizens, government officials, and pastors need in order to pass on freedom and liberty to future generations.
